At 18, I built my first startup, expanding it to three cities with over 100 volunteers in just one year. By 19, I had published my first book, and by my early twenties, I had secured an international scholarship worth USD 200,000 to study in Australia. Today, I am a PhD in political economy and energy transitions, but fun fact: I did not study economics beyond class 12th.
My first job in Australia was at the Parliament House as a policy researcher, and by 26, I was a lecturer, helping many students navigate life and build rewarding careers.
Let me tell you a secret – my path was full of overwhelming choices, pressure to follow conventional paths, and a constant fear of making the wrong decision. I am all too familiar feelings like self-doubt and confusion. But, there is a system and process to building a rewarding career.
A traditional career counsellor or ‘agent’ can NOT get you where you want to be and here’s why. Most agents are paid marketing professionals, sponsored by the Universities that they are promoting to you. They have also never been abroad and do not understand the complexities of a life that you have to build away from home.
I wanted to change the game, and help anyone and everyone achieve success in their career. After experimenting and changing my career almost 10 times in the past decade, I figured out that there is a process to creating successful and fulfilling careers. This is why I created Careerousity.

In 2022, I secured All India Rank 1 in CUET, an achievement that gave me unparalleled insights into how students can strategically prepare for competitive exams. I soon realized that cracking the exam is just the beginning—most students don’t know how to shortlist the right courses or institutions that align with their long-term goals.
At 19, I was awarded a full scholarship to be mentored by Harvard faculty, and I have worked on national-level policy projects that directly shape educational frameworks. I co-founded Careerousity to help students understand the CUET exam and process, and get into their desired course.
We start with a comprehensive understanding of your personality, values, visions, strengths and weaknesses based on new age personality tests, developed in-house. Our approach is different – we do not make you sit through 100s of MCQ questions and give you a stock response on your personality traits. We dig deep.
